Instead of listening to a psychopathic, deranged, and heartless fuck in his delusion of grandeur tonight, I'm going to watch Stand By Me & hope Mr. Reiner is organizing & directing the angels that we desperately need. Thank you independent journalists for taking one for the team tonight!

Elon Musk has begun funding the GOP's House and Senate campaigns for the 2026 midterms.

Musk — who threatened to launch a third party and support challengers to Republican incumbents during his dispute with Trump earlier this year — is now firmly back in the GOP's camp.
Scoop: Elon Musk diving into 2026 midterms for the GOP
Musk recently cut big checks to help Republicans win congressional races next year.

Absolutely not reposting the Trump/Reiner thing. A more blatant attempt to rile us up I have never seen.

The dangerousness of the right doesn't come from the power of their ideas, but the ownership of the means of distributing ideas.

You can't fight against Musk's fascist project by using his product. You fight against Musk's fascist project by boycotting his products: that requires discipline.
I really disagree with this and think nihilism is often used as an excuse for undisciplined behavior.
counterpoint: nothing you post on any social media platform will in any way combat the dangerousness of the right

I believe that, in no uncertain terms, A.I. as we know it today is a technology designed explicitly to destroy consensus reality, undermine human labor, and estrange its users from other human beings and ultimately themselves.

I do not use it and will not accept its supposed "inevitability."

Don't come here. Is the world ready for American political refugees? Because I'm not sure the people truly grasp why the 2nd Amendment exists or paid attention to the Revolutionary War in their history classes. Now, education has been gutted and replaced with character limits and memes.

Around 70% of the U.S. economy depends on consumer spending. As wealth concentrates in the richest 10%, the rest of America can’t afford to buy enough to keep the economy running.

This is a huge problem — and even America’s most powerful CEOs are starting to sound the alarm.
Our Economy Is in Danger. Here’s Why
