Black people tip well and treat servers who treat them well with kindness, not dismissiveness.

Who doesn't tip well?

Most local celebs.

White people who pray before eating.

White women who ask for separate checks and stay three hours.

Oddly, restaurant and small business owners.
The ‘Black people don’t tip’ thing isn’t even true. What’s happening is that you’re getting Read. We see you. Our inklings are survival mechanisms. Why the fuck would I throw an extra bone to a racist?

It’s like how if everybody you meet is an asshole eventually you gotta start doing the math.

just this perpetual cycle where the tech press helps zuck pretend he's innovative and interesting, he falls flat on his ass after setting billions in boomer ad money on fire, then all his employees pay the price for him being a pointless, unremarkable dipshit

RFK Jr is spending a lot of time thinking about teenage sexuality. 🫤
RFK Jr: "Today the average teenager in this country has 50% of the sperm count, 50% of the testosterone of a 65 year old man. Our girls are hitting puberty 6 years early ... our parents aren't having children."

This week I was in Walmart wearing a mask as I almost always do.

A man coming from another aisle with his two young children grabbed one who was about to run into me and said “watch out for the liberal”.

It’s amazing how many people are triggered by choices that don’t impact them.
Getting COVID 5 times doesn’t make you “stronger.” The immune system isn’t a muscle—repeated infections can cause cumulative damage and raise long-term risks.

Protect your immune system by avoiding repeat infections: clean air, masks, vaccination.

I don't see why anyone with basic human decency is still on Twitter and engaging with this garbage. Loomer is an awful person with some serious mental health issues. Engaging only gives her the attention she desperately craves.

Of course, Keith loves it too.
The story the RW accounts on X are going with about why the Dallas shooter killed immigrant detainees rather than ICE officials or other law enforcement personnel is that he was “a bad shot.”

Here’s Laura Loomer leading the way:

Political violence disproportionately hurts people with less power, not people with more power. Political violence will disproportionately hurt people of color and women and LGBTQ people. It’s not fair, but that’s the way it works. Celebrating political violence means at best indifference to that.
Political violence is bad. It usually begets more political violence.

Campus shootings are bad. They make everyone on campus less safe.

It's bad that what I wrote here is controversial.

I'm curious if a story of abuse allegedly being worked on by a local public media outlet has been spiked out of fears about losing even more Republican funding.

Think if Bin Laden knew then what we know now, he’d have simply paid Trump to run for office in 2001?

The Venn diagram of people who call LGBTQ allies “groomers” and support Trump is a circle.

They should all be asked to explain this.

I did not have paying $29 for “free”replacement parts on a desk on my Reasons to Hate Trump bingo card.

Check out the UPS subreddit to see how tariffs are hurting people trying to get even the cheapest of things shipped to them.

It’s truly strange to see 40 and 50 year old parents more wrapped up in what sorority their kid pledges than their grades or their major.

Glad I went to a college that had almost no “Greek life”.
“It may sound insane to hire someone to train your teenage daughter to talk to other teenage girls, but sorority rush, especially in the South, is a major undertaking,” Annie Joy Williams writes:
What It Costs to Be a Sorority Girl
Parents hire coaches for all sorts of extracurriculars; why not to train their daughters to make friends?
