When asked what do you do if an author doesn't adhere to your policy Robert Thibault indicates "we provide annual summary of their open science activities: here is what you could have done, and here is what you have done". It works!

@asapresearch.parkinsonsroadmap.org’s #OpenScience policy and compliance workflow — requiring grantees to post preprints, deposit research outputs, unambiguously i.d. research inputs — led to increases in all outcomes and activities.

A funder-led intervention to monitor and support a robust open science policy can foster the posting of preprints and the sharing of data, code, protocols, and key lab materials.

In 2014-23 China experienced rapid growth in RCTs, surpassing Japan & the US. Neoplastic, CV, metabolic disease accounted for the largest percentages, each representing ~15-25% of all registered trials. In the US, mental health trials increased, reflecting growing interest in the area.
The study highlights the increasing prominence of East Asia, particularly China, in registered clinical trials, though with a primarily domestic focus. Improvements in existing trial registries covering East Asia are desirable

RT: Results: 102 publications in last year.
Most manuscripts do good job in sharing data, but large increase in sharing from manuscript stage to publication.
Research record should not just include vetted claim, but stands upon peer review, analysis, raw data, procedures, and lab materials.

I have been editor for many Registered Reports and many traditional articles, and it is truly amazing how null results suddenly appear all over the place in Registered Reports. Almost as if there is some problem with our traditional approach. Someone should look into that.

If you work in psychology in a research area without Registered Reports, you will see that the main hypotheses in papers are almost always supported. If your peers publish Registered Reports, you will also have access to null results, which should be very common. doi.org/10.1177/2515...
