While the GOP continues to keep the government shut down, this is a reminders that besides salaries ranging from $174-223K, US congress members receive a 72% subsidy on gold level insurance, free parking, a per diem, free gym, retirement. Oh, and on average they are only in session 147 days a year.

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.
