I’m a bass playing, boat building grandad. I follow the ‘train-wreck’ that is AusPol with a macabre interest. Born, lived worked Bunurong all my life. Wish we had more than the last 200yrs of history folded into our culture.

Labor of course do not need one single vote of the LNP to pass any laws, so they are choosing to make the laws weaker.

Yup, hollow words when you’re part of the machine.

We are changing our antifa secret handshake to slap-slap-fistbump-fistbump. Then you snap your fingers once, eat everyone's pets, and make everyone within 50' instantly become trans. Pass it along.

Yep, the ALP further alienating themselves from their natural constituents
boatie.bsky.social
True that. It’s par for the course that the LNP ignore logic in favour of social conservatism & vested interests, but I really resent the ALPs disregard for the wishes of the electorate. I really hope the Greens and Indies do as you suggest

Greens and Indi's should hold a joint presser, the whole lot standing in front of the cameras.

They need to call this out and publicly call Labour out for ignoring them in this process.

So much for representative democracy when 40% of the voters are ignored.

BTW this National Press Club story hasn't been reported in any major news outlet yet. Indies like Lamestream, We Used to Be Journos, Pearls and Irritations etc all over it.

Some frank words about the hollow rhetoric that now stands as Labor’s climate policy, and how its PR-first strategy has been rewarded by the media. Thanks to 7am

Because they’re not working for us, they’re working for lobbyists as are the LNP.

In bed with the enemy. The Minerals Council have purchased our major parties, now they’re just putting them to work. #AusPol

Netanyahu openly says he "supports the idea of a 'Greater Israel,' which is a batshit crazy idea, which some people used to say was a conspiracy theory on the far right."

Me to Piers Morgan on his show today.

The scope of this headline has a stench ...

Were it only American support lacking - it is global condemnation, as it should be for GENOCIDE

Australian news papers unable to boldly tell the truth, in an age where self-censorship fits the current hidden govt agenda with Segall and "Schultz"

Shooters and kill squads in Sydney? They must be Victorians on holiday if we’re to stick with the narrative #AusPol

So the National Press Club is now censoring speakers in a similar way to the arts. Disaster.

CHRIS HEDGES says his talk at National Press Club on “The Betrayal of Palestinian Journalists” - focusing on the amplification of Israeli lies in the press - has been cancelled.

The National Press Club of Australia, caving to the Israeli lobby, Cancels My Talk on Our Betrayal of Palestinian Journalists
The National Press Club of Australia cancelled my talk on how the media, by amplifying Israeli lies, have betrayed Palestinian journalists, 278 of whom have been assassinated by Israel.
