So glad I found Earthdivers when it first dropped which reinvigorated my love for you after obsessing over Demon Theory in high school, which lead me to The Only Good Indians, The Buffalo Hunter Hunter, I Was a Teenage Slasher, and the Indian Lake trilogy.

My favorite part of the process was visiting Boston last summer to help direct Jeff through his portions in studio at The Bridge. We tore through the whole thing that morning and I just knew how special it was going to be.

It was a Herculean task, in a lot of ways, to bring this way to life, both in the amount of time it took Jeff to examine and write the story over the years, but also in finding all of the right people to help bring it to life. And truly? I think we did.

What convinced him was budgetary concerns (you know, with the narrator doing the brunt of the heavy lifting across the whole project and all), but I like to think my confidence in his absolute necessity to play this character, in order to give it any form of justice helped too.
