Police in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away.

They released this video and are now trying to identify the driver.

It's been over 8 months since govt fired the AHS CEO and the entire AHS Board... ostensibly to make things better, and to give govt more direct control over the HC system.

An acting CEO and no Board, and things are demonstably worse on all acute care fronts.

This is worth a read. There's a strong tendency to dismiss all anti-vaxxers as thoughtless or dumb, and having interviewed Lydia I can attest she is neither. What she does do is speak to fear, finding community and the psychological discomfort of abandoning a core truth she thought she knew.
