The first 14 words to the 22nd Amendment read, "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice." Rep. Goldman's resolution is akin to recent laws passed in various states prohibiting non-citizens from voting, which is already illegal. SMH.
Democratic Rep. Dan Goldman is introducing a resolution to clarify that the 22nd Amendment — which sets presidential term limits — applies even if the terms are not consecutive.
