Getting weird and crunchy with it. Hadn't tried shooting Phoenix yet and -experimental- is putting it lightly. I kinda love the weird crunchy and off kilter vibe it has tho? Wouldn't use it for everything, but fun!

Spotmatic w/ Super-Tak 50/1.4 using Phoenix 200 film
Analog photo of the 'catbird' sculpture. Extremely high grain with an odd color grading and funky shadows. The sculpture takes up the left half of the photo, partly obscured by a tree that takes up the right and top. Everything is in deep shadow except the side and top of the statue. Very creepy, crunchy, 80s horror kind of vibe. The same statue but now taking up the entire image, looking like it's staring directly at the viewer. IT FOUND YOU RUN! The 'dog' statue with an old post office in the background. It's a very skeletal thing in a washed out, off color image. The dog statue's dark colors stand out against the sky and building with extremely high contrast.

Nothing more exciting than a test roll so far, but it feels good to be doing some photography again.

Apparently I've hyperfixated 'bitch who shoots 35mm on a camera almost as old as her dad' into being part of my personality again.
An early run Pentax Spotmatic camera (circa 1964-66) with associated Super-Takumar 50mm/1.4 lens, being held up by hand by some dumb bitch who wants to get into film photography again. Said idiot is wearing a trans pride bracelet.

I was thinking the other day about how any series that goes long enough eventually loses the outside influences and experiences that started it, and becomes mainly informed by itself. this is often when the series loses the juice imo.
