I Like good comics, and know the difference.
I LOVE the craft and art of sequential graphical storytelling.
I mostly post/repost about comics, creating comics, and comics creators. Very ocassionaly other stuff of interest.
(Will comment on ANYTHING)

This.
This was the point where I took The New York Times off my follows.
I don't care that they wasted their own time publishing this inanity, but when they put it in the news feed, it wastes MY time.
“We don’t do Nike Tech; we don’t do coffee; it’s straight quarter zips and matchas around here.” That's how one 21-year-old explained his break from Nike sweatsuits and turn toward one of the stodgiest garments in the Western wardrobe.

You know what’s really smart? A creator sending out an advance review of their new book, and what a series @peposed.bsky.social has on his hands with @dynamitecomicshq.bsky.social Space Ghost. One of the consistently great monthlies right now.

Things have been hectic and I've been remiss in plugging CATACOMB OF TORMENT #5, which hits shelves on Wednesday from @oni-press.bsky.social. My second story for the EC anthology is "Necronomicomicon", and I'm teamed up with @lukasketner.bsky.social again on art.

It's EC for thee, see?

We recently lost my mother. The kids and I miss her terribly and would give anything to be able to share our lives with her still.

And I know beyond a shadow of doubt that she'd quit heaven to claw out of her grave and murder us all before she'd allow any part of this hellish and ghoulish farce.
New insult to life itself just dropped

there’s no point in denying the book of the week - the month - the year? - is Savage Sword of Conan #11, a tour de force from Liam Sharp’s pen … his digital stuff is excellent but this is an abject lesson in the fact that nothing in art can beat the tactile splendor of paper covered in hatching.

Oh.

Oh.
My.
Goodness.
It's 20 years since @seanphillips.bsky.social and I exchanged a sketchbook back and forth in the mail, a drawn &painted call and response. INTERSECTIONS may be out of print but here is a flip through that sketchbook. You can still find the book out there :)
