Hello. I'm still about. I just forget about social media sometimes. I've been learning my new camera and warming up for the warm season. Photography is fun. I've really been enjoying candid shots and focus stacking macro. Wheee.

I've realized I need to work on eyes. I'm not happy with the eyes I tend to draw. Eye study in my future perhaps? In the meantime, have some critters.

35 years ago today, one of the most ICONIC and profound images was taken.

the pale blue dot.
A dark, nearly black background with faint streaks of sunlight forming diagonal beams. In one of these beams, near the right side of the image, a minuscule, barely visible pale blue dot—Earth—stands out, appearing fragile and isolated against the vast emptiness of space. Playing around in #valence3dapp on iPad and rendering the results in @nomadsculpt.com. Valence is really worth exploring if you are looking for a polygonal modeling app for iOS. The developer is hard at work to build the app out, and it is already great in its current state. Worth a look.
