Books written by women are considered YA ➡️ women authors add sex so the books properly classified ➡️ (either) Romantasy books are just modern Harlequin romance books that can't be taken seriously (or) WHY ARE YOU PUTTING SEX IN YA?! Won't somebody please think of the children!

My dad died last year. He worked in the same industry for almost 50 years before he retired in 2020. Most people know he passed, as the people at his last mill knew and word spread pretty quickly. I was at my mom's last night and she got a weird call. I could hear bits but not everything... 🧵

Solid start to my 50 books in 2025 goal in January. 4 books down, 46 to go! I highly recommend Blood Over Bright Haven, and feel like our current leaders could learn a lot from the messages re: privilege, othering, unlearning, finding common ground...

Shouldn't this post say that this blatantly goes against the 14th Amendment of the Constitution? It's concerning that the concept of fact checking is out the window... Like the point of journalism isn't to just repeat what people say.

Yes. And I'm going to miss the communities I built, but at some point, it's just not worth it anymore. I already cut back on all social media a lot in the last year by reading instead of doom scrolling... Here's to cutting back more and building new communities.
Trump hated TikTok (because China) until it helped him win an election (as even he acknowledges) and now he’s going to save it and take a victory lap. So he’ll have X, TikTok, Insta, and Facebook all working on his behalf. That’s a big difference between now and 2017.
