I've often pondered the fact that when I became a US Attorney, I had to stop selling the occasional skein of hand-dyed yarn on Etsy (I'm a knitter for those of you who don't know me) to avoid any appearance of conflict of interest. That seems quaint & laughable now.

Many of us thought Trump’s mass deportation promise would hit Latinos hard pre-election. But we missed that he managed to convince them he’d only target hardcore criminals, not their undocumented family or friends—because they are ‘good.’
