95% of Australian political media coverage is a demand for a dog and pony show.

Something happened, we expect you to respond this way, why aren't you responding the way we expect, oh my god, you are now under pressure to respond the way we expect!

Ignoring local climate change events is also part of this - Carmarthen (last week) and Abergavenny (yesterday) experienced their worst flooding in years yet there has been minimal news coverage. And while it’s not news that it rains in Cymru, the intensity of downfalls is getting more extreme.

We could power the entire planet, our entire species, by covering .5-1.0% of the Earth’s surface with solar panels.

We don’t need nuclear, we need good governance that properly allocates resources and allows unneeded industries to die.
Global uranium demand for reactors will rise by a third to 86,000 tonnes by 2030 and to 150,000 tonnes by 2040, the World Nuclear Association said, while mine output is set to halve between 2030 and 2040 as existing deposits run out. on.ft.com/45NnLUe

In my newsletter, I look into why neither side of this infamous debate included any Hawaiian perspectives. And why it matters.
