Northern minaret of the Times of India building seen through one of the stained glass windows of VT.

Cc: @ruderigues.bsky.social
Picture is a photograph taken through the various colours of a stained glass window. The dome shows more clearly in one facet, with the other facets letting in a distorted view because of the texture of the glass. A tighter view showing only what is visible through a red pane. The building is more clearly visible, though still hazy, as is a tree beside it and some traffic below. A slightly different angle through yellow-green glass. Through grey-blue glass.

Since I had to hear about Modiji praising Netanyahu's "strong leadership" today 🤮🤮🤮, I thought I would repost this other incredibly vomitous thing: a 2009 promo for an Israeli arms manufacturer selling weapons in India.

Remembering this from Sc*tt Ad*ms’s blog back in 2016. 🙄

If the LGBTQ community wants to be a bit more inclusive, I don’t see why “polyamorous alpha male serial kisser” can’t be on the list. If you want to label Trump’s sexual behavior “abnormal” you’re on shaky ground.

• USAian academic Dr C Christine Fair called Drumpf a chutiya on a podcast interview.
• The professor’s vehicle licence plate uses the same word.

Since you first got a cellphone, what is the longest that you have been without your phone within arm’s reach or with your phone off?
When was this?

When was the last time you made a call from a landline?
If you have a landline, when did someone last call you on it?

(Not including telemarketers or robocalls.)

In, say, the last fifteen years, what is the longest you have been without cellphone, landline, or internet?

Since you first began using the Internet as part of your daily life, what is the longest you have been offline? (Not counting flights.)
And when was this?

I was scouring shelves, cabinets and cartons for my poetry books, and here is what I found. Not all of them, but most.
Which ones have you read?
Perhaps you can share your collection?
(The pile collapsed a few seconds after I took this picture.)
