I find it increasingly funny that hit pieces on @zackpolanski.bsky.social and @greenparty.org.uk are essentially who would choose to vote for someone with crazy radical ideas of spreading wealth and equality for all. Why would anyone want to protect the planet. Won't you think of poor landlords!!

If the NE, West Midlands, Scotland mentioned = existing Freeports.
North Wales, New Freeport, Labour. They are now forcing mayoral authorities onto areas to deliver on SEZs. The connections will be the tax/rates breaks hence 'reverse tax multiplier'.

There are more Freeports now. London excluded as it's a separate entity. I referenced 8, because that was the original number + SEZs which have since been expanded and interconnected. The important point is how much of the investment is in areas of such excessive govt £ support + deregulation.
