Just saw the brilliant movie Shttl, a Yiddish language, single take, black and white portrayal of a 1941 Ukrainian village before the Nazi holocaust. A wonderful rendition of a transitional period, and all the lively debates within the community.

On this week’s “More To The Story,” journalist John J. Lennon argues that true crime too often turns tragedy into entertainment. And he would know.

He’s in prison for a murder he committed years ago, whose own story has been fodder for cable news.

Why America is obsessed with true crime

The Right used the charge of antisemitism when it served their interests to pursue the slaughter of Palestinians, and now swerve to antisemitism in excusing Nick Fuentes. Makes my head spin.

And just for the record there has been over a dozen immigrant mayors of New York. It’s an old city, and a city of immigrants.

Cuomo’s plan, like many Democratic Party leaders, is to police the poor and the immigrants while the rich continue to find new ways to suck more money out of the economy. And he was counting on the rich paying him back for his service to them. Good effing riddance.

I started today at the Panamanian Day Parade Breakfast in Brooklyn.

Panama is El Puente Del Mundo—the bridge of the world—and I know how Panamanians have had to fight for every bit of freedom.

When I'm Mayor, Little Panama will finally get the recognition it deserves.
