The new Trump immigration policy is merely to deport illegal immigrants with a criminal record. That is what Obama and Biden did. If that had been known by voters to be the Trump plan, there would have been no basis to distinguish the two parties on immigration and Trump might have lost. So he lied.

So the House would release the Ethics report on Gaetz if he was still a Member, but since he’s been nominated to be the chief law enforcement officer for the US with control of every federal law enforcement agency, investigation, and case, they will hide the report. Makes sense.
