I got really interested last year in the history of alchemical and Aristotelian-Christian thought about the nature of substance, purity and impurity, and how those ideas were applied to humans in the Inquisition and the Conquest. (Un)luckily those ideas are still alive and fucking us up today

It's clear by now that the Democrats won't press this case as aggressively as it needs to be pressed, and the media won't do that unless they have Democrats' quotes to use as a springboard either.

They won't do this work, so it's even more important that we circulate these stories ourselves.

I was gonna say, the instructions make it clear that non-Black people can sign up, you just need to use one of the other handles. That's what I did, and I brought my own domain over without any problem! (And threw some bucks into the jar while I was at it.)

I really wish trains between here and DC were more frequent and reliable. I'd go to DC all the time. But the latest return train leaves before dinnertime, so no evening activities, and it's not uncommon for the train to take 3+ hours because it has to share the track with freight trains.

Highland cattle are famous for their ability to "disco nap". Normally these brief, efficient sleeps will last between three and twenty minutes, deploying a variety of objects as pillows, including moorland boulders, cars or any particularly large dog or sheep who happens to be nearby.
