Totally opposed to authoritarianism. No kings! Slava Ukraini!
Taylor Lorenz was right.
I'm getting a sense of Orwellian "create and control the opposition" here.
Don't let anyone (especially the DNC etc.) limit the conversation, and keep an open mind.

The Three Pillars of public transportation:
Cheap
Convenient
Reliable

It is not for private enterprise.
Our traffic system is privatized mass transit. It is complex with many points of failure. Our traffic and health car systems are parallel, including the function of insurance companies.

Is there any precedent in modern history for a mass shooting occurring in a public setting with 10+ casualties and the perpetrator not being apprehended? It's really hard to fathom.

The simple fact that Russell Vought wants to close is the best argument I can think of to not only keep it open, but expand its funding and mission.
NSF is about to dismantle NCAR at Russell Vought's direction to protect the fossil fuel industry. It's hard to communicate just how much NCAR does, so let's take a look: I've never worked at NCAR, and I've worked with NCAR researchers once ever. What scientific discoveries has NCAR made possible? 👇

As congressional hearings go on in public today and can be watched live online by everyone, Jack Smith is testifying behind closed doors despite his written request to appear in public because Republicans don’t want the American people (again) to hear him destroy their lies.

"But if we can just get the votes we can..."

They cheat. They bought Dominion so they own the vote counting machines. They are slanting election law in their favor. They will just cheat. Stop imagining the next election will be fair. It won't. They already cheated and will again. Cheaters cheat.

Is President Donald Trump fighting a lonely crusade to restrict mail voting, taking on a Republican Party that’s staunchly protecting it?

Um, obviously not. But you might think so from how much of the Beltway press covers the issue. www.democracydocket.com/analysis/rep...

Donald Trump abandoned Don Jr when he was a little boy to run off with one of his many mistresses. Don Jr, clearly, now has issues with cocaine.

So, yeah, Laura, stand by Donald Trump by blaming parenting decisions on children having addictions.

LOL maybe the farmers (i.e. agribusinesses, not family farmers) will get their bailout. No one else will. Chump never pays his bills.
Will Americans get Trump's tariff rebate checks before or after they receive the long-awaited DOGE checks? (Hello?)
NEW: Tariffs are unpopular, prices are still stubbornly high and Americans are souring on Trump's handling of the economy. So, now, he's promising cash -- tariff rebates and other money in a bid to assuage restless voters.

Jack Smith offered to testify publicly about Trump—House Republicans are forcing it behind closed doors

Opinion | I'm Trump's former lawyer. Jack Smith should be celebrated, not vilified.
John Dowd: Jack Smith was once my adversary in a high-profile investigation of a Republican client. Smith was fair, impartial and fearlessly committed to the facts and the law.
