It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Yesterday on X, the Green Party’s post in solidarity with Ukraine after 3 years of resistance to Putin drew criticism from some supposedly on the left as well as (predictably) from the far right.

Common themes in this were that Ukraine is fighting a “proxy war” for the US & NATO...🧵

Trump has clearly not spoken to a single Palestinian about this plan. Gaza is our land. Palestine is our home. Peace cannot come at the cost of our country.

I urge the UK and the whole international community to resist him.

Current council tax is not fit for purpose, and this is not the way to save struggling councils. Having to raise council tax to tackle deficits rather than funding local councils properly.
Or they could properly fund councils by taxing the super wealthy.

But no, Labour will just leave it to council tax payers to foot the bill for years of Tory austerity instead of raising taxes on the mega rich and parasitic corporations.

When Laura K insists rejoining the EU wouldn't bring growth for the UK as EU countries on average don't grow much atm, it is (deliberately?) misleading.

The UK's economy can of course grow if trade with EU countries increases, no matter how well they are doing for themselves.
