Pushed myself way too hard the last couple days and my body is fighting back hard with increased pain, extra shitty O2 sats and carbon dioxide buildup, but Nurse River is keeping me company and making sure I rest with breathing support today.

I'm high and will probably delete these but hey look at the new longer incision scar from my third revision spine surgery this last October. Got an ass crack that goes all the way up.

My revision spine surgery itself went well & I've otherwise been healing nicely -aside from extra pain from having to reduce my meds early. I'm back on my high dose anticoagulants & managed to avoid new clots & hemorrhage. The fluid around my spine is healing on its own. I'm just glad to be home.
An x-ray from before my revision spinal fusion showing 2 paraspinal rods & screws from t2-l3. There's another independent smaller rod fused from t11-l2. My most recent x-ray from the 3rd revision spinal fusion I had October 23rd showing two new longer paraspinal rods from t2-l5 and again, the same smaller independent rod fused from t11-l2. Some screws have been removed on the left thoracolumbar side because they were misaligned.

I have successfully hunted down covid boosters for the household. The one good thing about me having respiratory failure and a blood clotting disorder is that my partner and kiddo get to have their vaccines early too😆

These parts of my spine feel like they're in a hydraulic press. My rods are being taken out & replaced with longer ones that extend to L5 (or my pelvis next month depending on damage). My neck needs to be fused as well but I'm trying to put it off as long as possible.

I'm so fucking sore & tired.
Most recent x-ray of my spine showing two long paraspinal rods fused from t1-l3 and a third, shorter rod independently fused from t11-l2. My neck is visibly unstable and leaning to the right side. My spine at my pelvis to L5 is degenerated and leaning to the right. I also have misaligned screws in my thoracolumbar region that overlap and grind together against nerves when I move.
