The maximum global mean surface temperature (GMST) was 15.48°C for the 1850-1900 pre-industrial period. In other words, the GMST never broke 15.50°C.

This graphic shows the number of times per year the GMST broke 15.50°C, from 1940 to 2024.

Jeg så debatten, og var veldig tilfredsstilt over de voksne damene som satt disse unge, naive kvinnene på plass.
Av en eller annen merkelig grunn er det fortsatt kvinner der ute som ikke har skjønt at hele forutsetningen for frihet er egne penger.
Blir flau av hvor dum enkelte hunkjønn er 🤦‍♀️

Honestly, this scares me the most as climate chaos ratchets up with each 0.1°C of heating - the inordinate number of people who think this is not going to impact them.

In many cases this results in a lack of urgency and a delay in lifesaving adaptation action!
