Been struggling with life stuff so hobbying has kinda stalled. I found a really pretty STL and that kick-started the painting motor again. Nothing system specific, but it looks nice. It'll make a good Ten Thunders piece. #malifaux #tenthunders #tabletopgames #miniaturepainting #wargaming

Here are the Kingfisher and Firemoth all done. I'm not super happy about the water texture, but it's okay. Next time I think I'm going to pour the water onto the shrub since it sticks out a bit much.

Here's the completed Mad Dog with water effect practice. I added way too much water texture, but I was able to remove it with a little rubbing alcohol and restore the shine with brush-on gloss.

These were for a stream series I did that was a combination dry brushing/speed paint tutorial. I'm not a huge fan of the Combine, but I figured the red would make for some easy color with pop.

Since I wanted one of each flavor of Battletech faction, I still had to pick an IS group. Ended up going with the Free Rasalhague Republic and the Gunzburg Eagles. Finally getting better at applying decals. My next step is better shading!

Testing a new paint scheme for my mercenary company. I'm pretty happy with it overall. I'm intentionally trying to keep the details in the "just enough" range for now. It's fairly simple, but that's the name of the game for mercs who have jobs to do.
