I think the hardest thing about trying to get better at a hobby is constantly looking at people who are more skilled than you. Im not fishing for reinforcement. Just putting the thought out here to try and process it better. Looking up is the only way to improve, but holy shit can it suck.

Guys this is direly important. Do not let them privatize your tax filings. The companies that own the other programs are just stealing money from you to do what you can already do for free. Survey takes less than 2 minutes to do and can possibly help keep the tax filing program free. Fuck TurboTax.

Been struggling with life stuff so hobbying has kinda stalled. I found a really pretty STL and that kick-started the painting motor again. Nothing system specific, but it looks nice. It'll make a good Ten Thunders piece. #malifaux #tenthunders #tabletopgames #miniaturepainting #wargaming

Here are the Kingfisher and Firemoth all done. I'm not super happy about the water texture, but it's okay. Next time I think I'm going to pour the water onto the shrub since it sticks out a bit much.

Here's the completed Mad Dog with water effect practice. I added way too much water texture, but I was able to remove it with a little rubbing alcohol and restore the shine with brush-on gloss.
