What a comfort for your father to know that someone was looking after him, waiting to guide him to the next realm. May we all be so blessed as he was, but I believe that even if we don't see our companion, they are there with us in our journey. May your father's memory be a blessing.

I have a magnifier that you wear around your neck. It also has a little light on it, and that seems to help. Funny, I didn't need it years ago!🤔

That's cool that you are still friends, even though you've both changed. There's something special about friends from when you were young- they knew you as a different person and in a way that friends from when you're older don't. 😊

Although theycalled it a cabin, it was really quite a nice house if the picture outside is anything to go by. Proper starched curtains at the windows and everything.

We also stopped at an inn on the way to El Chalten with some Butch and Sundance history. Although it's still disputed if Butch was actually killed in the shoot-out. His sister in America claims he visited her after his reported death. So who knows what really happened?

That's a good question, Freyja, and I wish I knew the answer! It was a lovely place, it had a real sense of history.

I don't know what year this was, but I watched Bing's Christmas special every year, and remember being dumbfounded when David Bowie appeared! Still one of my favorite Christmas songs.
