Finally going to #AFF this year, for the first time, so this is a nice surprise and a bit of a relief, since I was beginning to think I was the only one from my writers group going that didn’t make the 2nd round.

Been at this a long time and this is the first time I’ve actually had a script progress past the quarterfinals. Thank you @networkisa.bsky.social/ #emergingscreenwriters for a much-needed nod to keep on banging my ahead against the bricks.

Impressive as the technical mastery of this show was, I was blown away by the cast’s endurance and ability to deliver these gut-wrenching performances when the moment called for it, again and again, deep into takes. Throw all the #Emmys at this show.
