This should terrify every single person no matter which party you support.

It’s billionaires against humanity. Get with the program.

If the White House decides it can defy the will of the courts, then the people must defy the will of the White House.

One of my most favorite accounts/humans with some very good work happening. 🥹❤️
Worried about losing access to US federal data that may go off-line, or already is? You’re not alone—but duplication isn’t the answer.

Many ongoing efforts have already archived key datasets and many more are ongoing. Check out these existing resources and, if you can, support their work. 🧵

Really tired of having to explain basic Econ to the “THEY TOOK OUR JOBS” crowd. 🤪
Stating the obvious: tariffs are a regressive tax on the poorest Americans.

A company pays the tariff, and raises their prices to get that money. That price is paid by the consumer.

Everything Trump does, he makes sure to attack Biden in the process.

When Biden did things in 2021, he didn’t mention Trump at all.

Dems think this puts them above the fray, but all it does is show how bad at politics they are.

Trump is president again because Dems held back!

Baffling to me that nobody was thinking 15 steps ahead of this administration when their agenda to dismantle/take over our country was GLARINGLY visible. Let Elon cook.
Elon Musk has infiltrated the U.S. Treasury Office to identify ways to cut off funding for various projects, prompting the abrupt retirement of the Treasury official responsible for overseeing the government’s vast payment system.

For everyone shocked by Orange Man’s executive orders, people have been shouting from every corner this was coming. Sad day for this country, but together, we rise. ❤️

I am a climate scientist and this is correct ⬇️
Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

Dramatic changes are needed not just nationally but globally for the billions of us working to survive.

Here in the US, I think tax season should take a vacation in 2025. :) What we’d owe goes back into communities, mutual aid, & NOT the pockets of the uber wealthy.

I struggle how this is beyond some comprehension, that so many of us wish to just live comfortably within our community. I hope you feel the urge to keep pushing this “radical” idea forward as we enter 2025.

I’m finding the community here far more engaging and respectful, while still wickedly funny. Happy to be migrating to these friendlier skies.

Apathy will be the default emotion, & that’s precisely what authoritarians thrive on.

Keep your communities close. Kindness & joy are resistance. Small actions lead to bigger ones. 😘
