In the last 5 years three people I know have traded in ICE cars for EVs and won’t look back- in my experience the tide has finally turned in favour of EVs and Councils can add failing to meet this need to the long. List of their failures

Meanwhile, in Galway, we've been talking *for decades* about how it might be nice to have a pedestrian/cycle bridge over the piers of the old railway line to Clifden, which was shut down in 1935.

De Snelbinder cycle bridge. Opened in 2004, attached to the side of an existing 1879 railway bridge, it runs for 2km linking Nijmegen to Lent by bike, alongside trains. Same crossing, different century. This is what decades of serious investment in cycling and sustainable urban planning looks like.

Well done renewables but not at all unusual, especially for November -- we had a couple of 70%+ days this week.

Renewable generation and discharging storage equalled 75% of yesterday's electricity demand, with a peak of 86% at 04:15. Fossil fuel generation (mostly gas) equalled 29% of demand. 5% of generation was exported, 1% of demand was met by imports.

32% seems like a lot in late November? Well done renewables?
