I saw that Frankie Boyle clip again today: "Imagine what it's like being an immigrant in Britain these days, being told you need to integrate more, by people who spend a fortnight in Spain pointing at a picture of egg & chips on a menu".

Edinburgh's Usher Hall for the quite fabulous @delamitri.bsky.social once again. Justin seems determined to count what he considers his mistakes, but the audience went home hugely entertained, and that's surely what's important. Thanks for a great night

There's no-one quite like @hamishhawk.bsky.social and for that we ought to be so thankful. Another quite joyous night of tunes at Barrowlands. Huge smiles and so much love from the audience. Thanks again HH

@mmgeissler.bsky.social Any reason that the show isn't in Sounds this morning? It shows on Sounds and we have the usual pic, but it's 5Live

The Divine Comedy @divinecomedyhq.bsky.social at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall tonight. What an incredible show. We didn't come for the banter 😁 but what we got was such a joy. It's always good when you see the band smiling, take another bow guys 💙

Matt Berninger at SWG3 Galvanizers tonight. Hugely enjoyable - Matt in great form and with such a tight and talented band. I've been enjoying the recorded solo material, but it's somehow so much more when played live. And the sound at the venue was so crisp 🎼🎼

@dcrainmaker.com Hi Ray, do you have any info/background on the Wahoo GPS issues many have reported today? My device thought I hit both Iceland and Northern Ireland on my bike ride from Scotland this morning

Faye Webster at Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow. Well outside my usual genre(s) and a bit of a culture shock to experience the screaming and extreme mobile phone use. Perhaps explained by me most likely being the oldest person in attendance

A very entertaining evening seeing Sharon van Etten at Glasgow Barrowlands. I remain unconvinced with much of the new Attachment Theory material, but Sharon once again put on a great show

@hamishhawk.bsky.social at Usher Hall, Edinburgh. A wonderful night with Hamish and a band that seems to grow in confidence and swagger every time I see them. There seemed to be so much warmth in the Usher Hall tonight. Hope to see you all again soon 🩵

The fabulous genre-defying She Drew The Gun at Room 2 in Glasgow tonight. A quite terrific night with Louisa in great form. But please fellow patrons, enjoy the artist and STFU with the blethering 👍

Imagine you were the richest man in the world. You could have anything you wanted, go anywhere you wished, do whatever took you fancy. How would you spend your weekend? Depriving the poorest people in the world of food and healthcare and boasting about it?

Superb night seeing @emilybarkerhalo.bsky.social perform as part of Celtic Connections. That stunning voice is quite something, here singing "Pause", one of my favourite ever songs, and in response to a request by yours truly. I think I had something in my eye .....🥲
