Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

The horrific way conservatives are trying to redefine who's a person
Surprising no one but depressing everyone who isn’t an unmitigated xenophobe, Donald Trump made sure the first day of his presidency included an executive order ending birthright citizenship. ...

A pardoned J6er, Matthew W. Huttle, 42, of Hobart, Indiana, was shot and killed in Jasper County during a traffic stop yesterday.

This happened after an "altercation took place between the suspect and the officer, which resulted in the officer firing his weapon and fatally wounding the suspect."

And yes, this will affect you and your wallet!

Few material things can provide perspective. This does for me.

Photo of Otto Frank, returning to his family’s hiding place. In 1944, an informant betrayed them and the family was sent to Auschwitz.

His wife (Edith) was murdered, his daughters (Margot & Anne) died of Typhus.

Not to get all political on you but actually I do think you should be talking to people you know about this
cool how Project 2025 went viral during the election, we were told Trump disavowed it and wouldn't do it, he got elected and started implementing it immediately and now we're being told "well this is what people voted for"

they very explicitly did not
The people now in charge of the Office of Personnel Management apparently don’t know how to scrub PDF metadata, and have exposed the original authors of the guidance they’re publishing. Two, Noah Peters and James Sherk, have links to the Heritage Foundation and Project 2025.

This is a public health nightmare in the works.

Nobody voted for this.

PEPFAR’s computer systems also are being taken offline, a sign that the program may not return, as Republican critics had hoped.

President Trump fired 15 independent inspectors general in a late-night massacre that was very likely illegal. Trump offered a weak defense of the purge that made it crystal clear that he doesn’t have a genuine rationale for the removals, as the law appears to require.

Sure, Trump broke the law by firing inspector generals without 30 days’ notice.

But here’s the bigger issue: inspector generals find fraud, waste, and abuse, saving taxpayers money. This wasn’t for the people—it was done to cut off checks and balances for Trump’s corrupt administration.
