After Rümeysa Öztürk wrote an op-ed about Palestinians in Gaza, masked, plainclothes ICE agents grabbed her off the street. No one knew who they were or if it was even a real arrest. In a democracy, that shouldn’t happen. And we can’t let it become the new normal.

Healthcare companies are never guilty of murder, because murder is defined as "unlawful" killing, and the law gleefully chooses to not protect working-class people from the unconscionable, depraved actuarial calculus they do. When the laws exist to protect *us*, then maybe there will be justice.

When I decided to be vegan, I never looked back. I never wanted a cheat meal. I never craved meat or dairy again. That’s how wonderful being vegan feels to me … being true to what I know is important. 🐣

Others have said it, but I’ll reiterate…you need to keep doing it because we can’t just pause learning and discovery just because some in power will ignore what we learn. We’re not doing it for them. We’re doing it for everyone else.
