Makes sense to me
In order to put to rest “did they actually use it or not”, Guillaume Broche said it a recent Q&A that they tried AI when the tech was new, but they didn’t like it, it felt wrong to them. And they will not be using it in the future.

Kingdoms of the Dump has the same vibe as like. A Crown of Candy in that there's some genuine political subterfuge and some pretty brutal kills happening but its all happening to like. little garbage people so it's all a lot more digestable

One day after I can publicly talk about the work I’m doing on my current game, I will share the temp asset I made that was a shit post parodying Evangelion episode title cards. I made it that way so it was obvious when it was still in the game.
Say it with me now- placeholder assets are supposed to be bright and obvious so you DON’T ship with them.
Also it doesn’t matter if no ai-generated assets are in the final executable?? The rising sea levels aren’t gonna be like “oh well no one saw that so the climate change doesn’t count”

As much as I agree with this it's pretty ridiculous that this thing that was known to some degree back in April is only coming back up now because the game won all those awards. If Polygon (or whomever) who had the access really cared they would have asked them then.
