THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT. Sadly, I seem to recall Sky bought it up, but only to use the channel slot of Some Old Bollocks +1, and it disappeared, just after they brought in James "Loaded/Viz" Brown as creative consultant.

Looking at some old cable listings, it does look like they repeated - of all things - Carnal Knowledge in the early 00s.

Also: nice to note that Ftn also tried to make US Late Night Talk Shows a bit hit in the UK, which never worked for anyone.

I find it strange that any satellite TV listings from that era don't even include the channel, despite it being one of the few non-shopping channels on Freeview at the time. It'd be good if we still had a channel like Play on modern-day TV, though.

This write-up from 2004 shows precisely the level of quality programming one could expect from Ftn, post-watershed. Basically the stuff left out in Bravo's bins.

I've just spent an hour of my evening disproving something said in a 1957 issue of the Radio Times, all for the sake of a single sentence in something I suspect very few people will read. I don't even like tennis, but Standards Must Be Maintained.
