I live in London and pretty much everything i need is within 15 minutes of my home, GP, A&E, vet, post office, both my daughter's schools, parks, shops, restaurants, cafes, chippy, pubs, bus stops, overground train, underground. My work is *gulp+ half an hour away. I mean, it's hell ...

Apologies, misread it that you weren’t keen to have a food bin when actually (I think at least) they are a good way of dealing with food waste and should be encouraged

Don’t put the little grey one outside, it’s quite lightweight. I have mine on the kitchen bench and fill it as I cook. Bigger one lives outside undisturbed by our resident fox and regular squirrels and a good array of birds. Great way to deal with food waste

We have a small plate of pre dinner snacks, variations on cheese, olives, crackers, charcuterie, nuts and suchlike most nights which I love. But nothing else
