he means Muslims, he possibly means Hindus, he probably does not mean Jews or Sikhs and he quite definitely does not mean Christians, he's also interested in skin colour but not in a good way and he's Chair of the Conservative Party apparently

Partly yes. Years ago women would do a lot of that land work around school hours etc but society has changed & both parents need to work full time these days. Plus the constant drive to lower production costs means food production is a full on 7 day a week effort now

My Nan loved Vim. Always had a pot under the kitchen sink and deployed it often. I too remember the rusting claggy circle of holes at the top of the tin from when she'd tip it back-and-forth on a damp rag before going at it with the offending mark or stain.

Vim was crude powder gunk, which could do any job, there were a number of 'Household Highs' but Vim was not one of them despite (later) visual comparisons
