The regime did everything in its power to rig the congressional maps in Indiana — and lost.

Even in deep-red territory, we are not powerless. Thank you to @indivisiblenei.bsky.social and everybody else who is fighting back (and winning) from inside the machine.

Don't just get mad at DHS for the public policy choices they're making to let children drown because saving them costs money. Start demanding that your state and local governments do better too.

Your local and state governments can and should do better. Make sure they know you know that.

I'm not speaking purely in hypotheticals. There is a reason why hurricane death tolls are always lower in Florida than other states, and it's not just building codes. It's because of expensive public policy choices that there should be no barriers to evacuation other than people's own stupidity.

I just think there needs to be more attention paid to the uniquely creepy, mendacious, awfulness of Speaker Mike Johnson. Don’t underestimate the depth of his ambition and breadth of what he is willing to do to never return to Shreveport.

If the US government requires passports for you to practice your rights such as voting then passports should be provided for free to all and within a reasonable timeframe by said government.

All these articles about Democrats moaning over their messaging issues make me tired.

You know what's more important than messaging? ACTION.

Don't TALK about the price of eggs.

Tell people "MEET US IN THE PARK - WE'RE GIVING OUT FREE EGGS. THAT'S RIGHT - FREE EGGS FROM THE DEMOCRATS!"

Every Democrat in every abortion hostile state should be introducing legislation to compensate pregnant people who are denied abortions—not performative legislation that serves no purpose.

New Yorkers:

I don't care how much you (and so many of us) hate the established Democratic Party. PLEASE REGISTER AS A DEMOCRAT by this Thursday.

It's the only way to vote in the mayoral and council primaries, which, as usual in NYC, is basically THE general election (in most of the city).
