I'm back! Bluesky changed their policy preventing users from my state accessing their site without a VPN. However, my state "leaders" are still addle-brained to think that censorship is the best policy.

Since I’m in Mississippi it’s looking like my time on BlueSky is coming to a close. That’s unfortunate. Lots of stuff I could say about the current Miss. state government, but I’ll just leave it there.

Doomscrolling these days is really depressing. Break over; gotta get back to milling. I really need those 2x6’s I’m making today. Maybe the world and the U.S. will be better when the next break rolls around — I doubt it.

So Trump’s big plan is to send in the National Guard to “crack down on violent crime” in D.C.? Funny, I don’t remember him deploying them when actual violent criminals were smashing windows and beating police officers on January 6…oh right, those were his supporters.

Been meaning to read this book for a while. Bought the e-book a couple of months ago, but I always have a hard time with e-books and didn’t get very far. Guess I’m just too ‘old school’. Going to have to get the physical book!
