I got cancelled for dressing two day old puppies up as sushi for Halloween, for multiple reasons, but the best was because people eat dogs in China. Sadly I did not save the tweets but here's one of the puppies.

Legally blind user here. I have some vision, but it's not great. Alt text is amazing, takes like 5 extra seconds to caption images, and just turning on "Require Alt Text" is a *great* reminder to add it
