Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

1) If three foreign movies get Best Picture nominations this year, which is very possible, the Academy's old guard will start arguing that they should be ineligible.

I have issues with how the proshot was directed (was constantly begging a wide shot lol) but so glad that this amazing production was captured for all to see. It took me right back to when I saw it on Broadway.
The pro shot version of Merrily We Roll Along with Jonathan Groff, Daniel Radcliffe, and Lindsay Mendez hits theaters this weekend. I don't see any reviews, so maybe there's an embargo, in which case it would be completely inappropriate for me to say "Do not miss it."

Call me crazy but Wicked: For Good is better than the first movie?? If only because Jon Chu doesn't butcher Defying Gravity so he can audition to direct Shang-Chi 2. Still a mediocre adaptation of a stage musical. Ariana Grande ought to land another Oscar nom - but as a Lead Actress.
