I was head hunted by Palantir back in the day and whilst they seem like an interesting place to work the idea of enabling a client to murder people for loving each other was somewhat unpalatable.

And if your business model is to help terrible people to bad things at some point you have to consider what sort of person you are no matter how much you can somewhat justify under the guise of pragmatism. Your soul is corrupt.

They have an idea of stability that is enabling bad people to do terrible things to line their pockets.

I don’t think their judgement is able to think about whether democracy is good or not, only how to exploit it to profit.
