These last months are generally very hard on my health. My birthday's coming up, which I wanna try to enjoy. But it's never been easy.

Reminding myself to save spoons & hope to find spaces where solidarity + authentic efforts for understanding can actually root. It's okay to maintain boundaries 🌳

I hear you & am glad the r'ship w your partner can provide such safety. You get to decide & communicate how much closeness/distance you need from others (moreso when there's mutual care/understanding, esp when it changes too). It's okay to feel all this 💓

I relate to much of this. Often it's the intense pain from prolonged suppression/repression that ends up making departures safer than continuing a dynamic. A lot of it also rooted in socialized normality, which for me has been mostly harmful (sharing in hopes of offering solidarity - yr not alone!)💖
