In Super Mario 64, getting burned while twirling preserves Mario's angular momentum. The next time he starts flying as Wing Mario, the preserved momentum from the twirl suddenly returns and spins Mario around.

Couple of notes: Regarding Our girl Storm. Y'all gotta look at her in the comics(now) the straight hair never gave.
Not sure why she's slower than everyone in the game she flies on winds at mach speeds.
No continuous chain lightning ball or something is very confusing!
