Disney+ Getting Another Price Hike
Disney+ Getting Another Price Hike
Disney is increasing the price of Disney+, with the cost of the subscription service set to increase starting on October 21, 2025. Bundles that include Disney+ will also be more expensive. The Disney+ ad-supported plan is currently priced at $9.99 per month, but the price is going up to $11.99 per month. The ad-free Premium plan is $15.99 per month, but it will be increasing to $18.99 per month. * Disney+ With Ads - $11.99, up from $9.99 * Disney+ Ad-Free - $18.99, up from $15.99 * Disney+, Hulu Bundle (Ads) - $12.99, up from $10.99 * Disney+, Hulu Bundle (No Ads) - $19.99 (No Change) * Disney+, ESPN, Hulu Bundle (Ads) - $19.99, up from $16.99 * Disney+(No Ads), Hulu (No Ads), ESPN Select (Ads) - $29.99, up from $26.99 * Disney+ (No Ads), Hulu (Ads), ESPN Select (Ads) - $24.99, up from $21.99 * Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Basic (Ads) - $19.99, up from $16.99 * Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Basic (No Ads) - $32.99, up from $29.99 Pricing on the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited bundles is not changing at this time, nor is pricing for the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited, and NFL+ Premium plans. Disney last increased the price of Disney+ in October 2024, so prices are going up again after just a year. Prior to October 2024, Disney+ ad-free was $13.99 per month and Disney+ with ads was $7.99 per month. After Disney raised its prices in October 2024 and started cracking down on password sharing, it lost 700,000 subscribers. It is a curious time for Disney to implement a Disney+ price increase given the recent reaction to Disney's decision to pull Jimmy Kimmel's show off of the air. Last week, Disney-owned network ABC said that Jimmy Kimmel Live would no longer be aired, leading to a social media campaign encouraging subscribers to cancel their Disney+ subscriptions. Disney reversed its decision following the backlash, but the price increase could prevent some subscribers from returning to the service.Tag: Disney Plus This article, "Disney+ Getting Another Price Hike" first appeared on MacRumors.com Discuss this article in our forums

For every challenge that’s wrong the ump should have to add pieces of a clown costume:
1st one - red clown’s nose
2nd one - clown shoes
3rd one - giant flower that squirts

This speech is such an extraordinary combination of lies, delusions, narcissism, hatefulness, ignorance and lunacy that it could have been given by no other person than the president of the United States. It could well be the low point of US public diplomacy in our history.

A grim reminder: these people will never be satisfied. There’s no point at which they will say “we’ve won, let’s enjoy life.” They will always be looking for someone else to punish, to revile, to dehumanize. They’re empty without that.

The vicious cycle of monopolization:

1) Corporations argue that their growth is just part of the free market.
2) Use their monopoly power to gouge consumers.
3) Take a portion of their profits to make political donations.
4) Lobby against antitrust enforcement.
5) Repeat.

Just saw the Justice clip where he admitted Pedro Martínez pretty much owned him - that Pedro was always ‘in his head’ and at first I thought: yup Pedro was amazing! Now I’m less impressed

Happy Birthday to singer Linda Ronstadt, born July 15, 1946 in Tucson, AZ! She's released thirty studio LPs which have gone platinum, multi-platinum & gold, and won eleven Grammys, three AMA awards, two ACM awards, an Emmy, an ALMA & earned nominations for a Tony and a Golden Globe. More: al text
Ronstadt rose to prominence in the late 1960s as the lead singer of the folk-rock group the Stone Poneys, achieving a hit with "Different Drum" (written by Michael Nesmith in 1964, pre-Monkees fame).

Ronstadt launched a successful solo career in 1969, releasing numerous chart-topping albums, including 'Heart Like a Wheel' (1974), 'Simple Dreams' (1977), and 'Living in the USA' (1978).

Ronstadt moved between genres, showcasing talent in country hits like "When Will I Be Loved" and rock anthems like "You're No Good" and "Blue Bayou."

She also recorded successful albums of traditional Mexican music like 'Canciones de Mi Padre' (1987), and collaborated with big-band arranger Nelson Riddle.

She has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making her one of the most successful female recording artists in history.
Ronstadt is an iconic American singer whose career spanned decades and encompassed various genres, earning her the title "Queen of Country Rock."

Raised in Tucson, Arizona, her early musical influences ranged from folk and rock & roll to country, opera, and Mexican ballads.
In the mid-1960s, Ronstadt moved to Los Angeles and became a prominent figure in the burgeoning folk-rock and country-rock movements.

She was a regular at the legendary Troubadour club in West Hollywood, a hub for the thriving L.A. music scene. It was at the Troubadour that many musicians, including the future members of the Eagles, intersected and collaborated.

In the early 1970s, Ronstadt's backing band included Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner, who would later form the Eagles. Ronstadt's association with these musicians is often cited as a crucial step in the formation of the Eagles In 1971 Linda and her manager John Boylan signed up Glenn Frey and Don Henley to be part of her band. Randy Meisner and Bernie Leadon would later join Ronstadt’s touring band promoting Linda’s recent album release entitled 'Silk Purse' that summer. All four pre-Eagles played for Linda Ronstadt at a concert at Disneyland in July.

Does anyone ever read this alt text? If so, you'll note that I wrote too much about the Eagles. She never married but was involved in high-profile relationships, including one with former California Governor Jerry Brown. She also has two adopted children.

Health Challenges and Retirement: In 2011, Ronstadt retired from singing due to a degenerative neurological condition initially diagnosed as Parkinson's disease.

It was later determined to be progressive supranuclear palsy, a rare and incurable brain disorder. Despite the challenges, Ronstadt has been open about her struggles, raising awareness about the disease and inspiring others with her resilience.

A recent report found that Elon Musk faced at least $2.37B in potential legal liability from 11 fed agencies as of Inauguration Day.

As he exits, these agencies are still on DOGE's chopping block or have dropped investigations into his corporations.

See what this was about?
