Can food manufacturers please start packaging cream, creme fraiche, and sour cream, into 5 tablespoon packets?
The amount of recipes that only call for a couple of tbsp, and you can't get pots any lower than 300ml/150ml.

Christmas Dinner 2.0 was a success. Apart from the fact that I turned the timer on for 20 mins on the vegetable steamer, but neglected to turn it on at the socket, and didn't notice until I was serving it all up.

If you haven't seen Automan, I thoroughly recommend it. Completely crap, in a fabulous 80s comfort TV way. (Bonus points are awarded for recognising Chuck Wagner from a certain Broadway musical).
There's only a 6 month window between moving here and @c29.bsky.social moving in with us. I honestly thought I'd introduced the cheestastic Automan to Caz. Not so. This is being remedied between episodes of Airwolf (don't watch the 4th series). I think after those the logical must surely be Manimal?

At my dad's for a week or so and he gave me a bottle of violet syrup as part of my birthday present. Just tried it in a latte and ... it's weird but somewhat surprisingly very nice. Don't know why it works, but it just does. So, violet latte, give it a try if you can
