I've been experimenting with replacing animal proteins with chickpeas lately for a lot of quick weeknight meals (nachos, salads, hot pasta or pasta salad, soup, curry, etc.). They have a mild enough flavor (and if they're lightly seasoned initially) they can get added to any dish for a protein boost

Our friend has been in jail since May appealing deportation. I can't even imagine how much taxpayer money has been spent keeping him locked up when an ankle monitor would have sufficed

Peters is retiring!!! He has nothing to gain by being a bigot!! I literally bought a Michigan Pride sticker from him during his last re-election campaign and I am FURIOUS that he is turning on us for absolutely no reason

When I took the cats to the vet last month they had a tablet in the room running an AI transcriber, didn't even mention it to me or give me the option 🙄 (they at least paused the recorder when they left the room, which was the only reason I knew it was being used!!)
