I can't afford to buy a Switch 2 yet, but I did just discover that Retro Achievements is a thing and am now trying to get mastery in Pokemon Yellow. Super looking forward to revisiting some old games this way. Here's my progress so far!

We came up with his name after watching him persistently start wrestling matches with the much larger cat living with him in his foster home. He was a very tiny guy at the time, but that did not stop him. He’s also a purr machine!

My cat, Rumble, loves to hang out on the top of doors, but hasn’t figured out how to get down by himself yet. Usually we help him, but today it seems he tried to make an attempt. Here is an artistic rendition of how I found him.

I’m also not super knowledgeable about rocks/crystals, but it looks like there was a bunch of quartz that was chipping away in this ridge we hiked past.

We also saw coyote tracks, the work of some beavers, a bunch of woodpeckers, and heard a ruffed grouse thumping away and an owl!

I went on a really lovely hike last week that felt especially battery-recharging too. No leaves on the trees yet, but the buds were starting to pop and the moss was mossing. We saw deer tracks and there was a miniature set along with them. 🥹
