Across the street from my neighbors who haven't shoveled their sidewalk is an elderly, below the knee amputee whose sidewalk is pristine.
Not a good look...FOR CHICAGO. Don't make my disabled neighbor or these folks who are very nice and just out of town responsible for the public way!!!!!

This is my biggest issue with the transit app: it doesn't take into account ghost buses at all. It's still convinced I could leave in four minutes and make it to a restaurant for dinner by 6:30.

Another complaint while I'm waiting for the correct bus: hostile architecture has turned this bench that could fit three into a bench for only two.

Can anyone explain to me why large swathes of the Divvy map show no parking zones here until I zoomed in and then it appears they don't? I always find the no parking zones finicky.

I just saw this--Idk if emergency services had them move onto the curb or if they had that bright idea themselves but they're fully blocking the crosswalk and curb cut. Even saw a wheelchair user trying to figure out how to go around and 911 was like yeah we know about that 🤷♀️

I have regularly seen two beavers between Addison and Montrose when kayaking. They tend to swim north in the evenings and you can see them following each other. Here's one I saw along the riverbank just under the start of the 312 flyover near California Park.
