Dusting off my account to share that SPLINTER & ASH 2: CITY OF SECRETS is out now!

This series is my love letter to the fantasy adventures that I grew up on, but with a disabled princess and a nonbinary squire taking the lead in the fight to make their wartorn kingdom kinder and fairer. 💙
Hardcover copies of SPLINTER & ASH: CITY OF SECRETS on top of paperback copies of SPLINTER & ASH. An illustrated cover, with wonderful art by Vivienne To, shows the two main characters.

Yep, it's kind of like when Florida insisted on creating as many barriers for young people to use school libraries as possible, it was a teeny tiny fraction of parents who barred their kids from using those libraries.

It's all lies and story made up in bigots' brains.

Banned Books Week starts on Sunday, October 5—there are a ton of ways to support!

Find ways to get involved here: www.ala.org/bbooks/banne...

(If you're overwhelmed, even just checking out, buying, or elevating a banned book is helpful! Talking about them w/ the ppl in your life is an action!)

Freedom for some and not all is not freedom at all. And once we start excluding certain groups from the protections of their fundamental human rights, we not only forfeit our own humanity, but we forfeit the guarantee of freedom and liberty for all. Each one of us.

We stand together or we fall.

Today is a great day to celebrate autistic joy and that's all that I have to say about that.

If this week had you mad and taking action against censorship, might I recommend finding a way to join the fight against book bans?

really weird to have to promote a book while the world is on fire but also it is a job and any way my book comes out in paperback next week, it's really funny and also has a lot of very relevant things to say, please buy it or request it from your local library

The name ‘Tiffany’ is many centuries old.

To many people, it sounds like a stereotypical name for a Valley Girl in the 1980s.

This has led to a phenomenon called “The Tiffany Problem,” which describes things that sound anachronistic, but actually aren’t.

Everything is bad, but books are good. Get a book. Read the book. Cherish the book. Finish the book. Tell your friends about the book, and leave a review of the book. Hold the book close. Listen to what it tells you. Do as it commands. Place it on the dread altar and let it guide your every choice.

Agent friends: I zoomed through the audiobook of VERITY VOX AND THE CURSE OF FOXFIRE this weekend and it was great and had everything I want in a YA fantasy. Cool witchy magic! A fun voice! Cozy, but still important stakes! SAPPHIC!!!

If you have anything like this, send it my way? :) #MSWL

Wouldn't it be cool if in response to Kpop Demon Hunters being the most successful animated movie of the year/all time/whatever companies paid artists to do cool original projects and more shows and movies and more stability in animation and design. Hahahhahahahahahhaha man. Oh well!
