We have cleaned up the crime scene and blocked a local investigation and hidden the perpetrator and invaded the state and that is how you know that we are acting in good faith and that everything was the victim’s fault.

As a former advocate for survivors of domestic violence, I cannot describe how much it pains me to hear the Vice President say we owe a debt of gratitude to man who shot a woman in the face and then called her a fucking bitch.

This is stunning. Listen to this in Philadelphia.

Thousands singing “Hey-Oh, we won’t be silent while our friends are gunned down.”

Really listen to it.

Renee Good should still be here.

She was a beloved child of God, with inherent value and infinite worth.

She was murdered by her own government in broad daylight in what is supposed to be the greatest democracy on the planet.

The “if she had complied, she’d still be alive” line that we’re hearing from ICE defenders is the mantra of apologists for security forces in dictatorships through the ages.

I'm not a doctor or a nurse. I have no medical expertise. Far be it from me to diagnose anyone. I don't know what's going on with Trump. But I do know something is going on with him. We all can see it. Where is the scrutiny over his cognitive health that legacy media had for Pres. Biden?

Not sure why the Admin feels this exonerates Ross. If anything, it shows that he was pissed that these ladies weren’t intimidated. You don’t say, “Fucking bitch” if you had feared for your life. You say, “Fucking bitch” when you just killed someone who pissed you off.

If there are *any* Democrats in Congress who will still vote to keep funding this administration when it is using that money to terrorize our cities and refusing to allow congressional representatives their clear right to observe their activities, then those reps need to be primaried into retirement
I was just denied access to the ICE processing center at the Whipple Building.

Members of Congress have a legal right and constitutional responsibility to conduct oversight where people are being detained.

The public deserves to know what is taking place in ICE facilities.
JUST NOW: Huge mass of agents in a standoff, weapons drawn as Reps. Ilhan Omar, Angie Craig, and Kelly Morrison attempt to conduct congressional oversight at the Whipple Building, which has been HQ for thousands of ICE agents.

This is what happens when a madman surrounded by fascist lackeys is given absolute unfettered power to do whatever the fuck he wants. Colbert is right. “obey or die” is the GOP response to the murder in Minneapolis. We will not obey. We will “Not Go Gently” as Trump demands. We Will Fight #ProudBlue
Stephen Colbert on the ICE murder of Renee Nicole Good: “The message from this administration is clear. Only they determine the truth. And when their forces come to your city: obey or die. And if you die, you clearly didn’t obey. This should be an alarm bell for the entire country.”
